PAP
PAP (Project Advisory Partners PTY Ltd) is an outsourced project management service provider specialising in operational readiness, risk management, transition, change management, in mining and infrastructure.
Project Advisory Partners (PTY) Ltd was initiated with the aim to improve project success rate by closing the gap between project completion and the realisation of expected benefits, putting focus on the end user.
According to Project Management Statistics (2022), approximately 70% of projects fail and of the 30% that succeed, only 5% realise the expected benefits. The biggest contributor to the high failure rate results from the misalignment of customers and stakeholders’ expectations, that continue to change during project execution, making it difficult to achieve project goals. Owing to the high failure rate, stakeholder engagement became the most valuable project management process. PAP realised a gap in the market and hopes to address the gap using an effective stakeholder engagement system that guarantees the realisation of benefits during project completion.
Our Director
Its founder, Lillian Mphule, is a Metallurgist with over 15 years experience in both surface and underground mining, as well as infrastructure projects. She has vast experence and knowledge in mine operations and the implementation of operational readiness strategies, project execution, transition and stakeholder management. She has worked with various mining giants like Anglo-American and Rio Tinto, where she was primarily accountable for the design and execution of operational readiness objectives, risk management, project management and governance. Her experience includes delivering workforce transition and adoption levels, through the design and implementation of operational readiness activities as demostrated on Palabora Copper’s Lift II Project, a block-cave mine development project that saw the company extending its life of mine.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Metallurgical Engineering and a Master of Business Leadership (MBL). She is also a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and a qualified HAZOP Professional. She is currently a candidate for a MSc in Project Management with the University of Liverpool (UK).
